Glock 21 Specs - So without much fanfare, I began researching my first firearm with a Springfield XD service model. But when I showed up to the Gunstore, I realized there were so many options. The OD Gen 3 G21 came into my hands and fell in love but I haven't bought it yet. Although my first gun (simply by the first signature of the three, the other two being a third-generation G17 and G22), this older non-sf gen3 made it home in the black. Dry firing quickly confirmed the tungsten rod made it my favorite and at the time Sig never made enough or cheap enough. 2.5k rds later, it's still my favorite handgun, and probably my favorite firearm. For me, the ease of doing so, or the non-exclusive design of it or other miniature models, has always been the reason I chose the Glock and continue to prefer it. The tungsten rod balances out the lighter magazine loads and makes my workouts consistent.
For me things don't get better. In my opinion the Glock 21 is the ultimate .45. Although it's slightly overdone (same as the Glock 20 in 10mm), that's not necessarily a bad thing. The extra beef allows you to put ammo through the day. Length isn't necessarily an issue for concealed carry, and with the right holster system you can carry it all day without too much discomfort. Trust me. I have it and it's not a big problem. The smaller I get in the .45, the more the gun jumps and the less accurate and stable it gets in the hand. Any bigger and it becomes, at least for me, a hidden pregnancy problem. I plan to buy another one with my next paycheck. And after 27 years of concealed carry, the .45 is still the best stopper and the Glock is still the best handgun system I can think of. This is a well worth investment in defense carrying capacity. Glock 21 Specs
I just bought my second Glock 21. This pistol is much easier to make than you might expect. It weighs less than a 1911 and holds more ammo. With the right holster they can be easily concealed. This is serious food for thought. The smaller the gun, the more hopeful. This leads to a control problem that could be solved with a larger gun that can dampen recoil and contribute to accuracy. The Gen4 Glock
After wearing the 21 for a few weeks on a daily basis, I've realized it's not the problem many would say. At 28.26 ounces, it is about 11 ounces lighter than a full-size 1911, and about 8 ounces lighter than the Commander. It also carries more ammunition. I bought a belt for it and with a good belt I get to the point where I don't feel like I'm pulling or tugging and I don't have to keep my pants on all day. Although it is a large pistol, it is very well balanced and fills my hand nicely with my standard grip extension. Also, to reiterate, it's a little overpriced (same frame as the 20 in 10mm), but that's not too bad when you realize it can chew and spit +p ammo with no problem.
So. If you consider the 21 a concealed carry handgun, it's not bad at all. Just get a good holster and belt. I hope this helps you.
I've had a Glock 21 for 3 years, and have fed 1,300 rounds into it with no issues. I got a tungsten handlebar assembly, a power slide stop lever, and a clip to get it on my belt in my back. I have a Colt 1911 and although it is a nice shooter, my favorite is the Glock. It is much easier to break than a 1911. You have to be careful in one chamber though. I did get my finger on the trigger once when I was wearing my belt and if I had one in the room I probably would have blown my ass off. I'm practicing pulling it and I'm confident I can get one on quickly.
Worth every penny, never regret buying but hey, it’s a Glock so what more needs to be said, I love people who spend 400 more batters on a Glock when a Glock knocks top bucks every time. This 45 is flawless and performs this way every time

You can hide carrying this easily. I hide my load which also has viridian lasers and +2 Pierce. KT me how and Dara make nice cases as well as stealth gear. Stealth gear makes a good holster for the pants.
I bought my Glock 21sf about a year ago and have had it several times. I love this gun and highly recommend it! This gun never fails or quits. It's my everyday bag now.
Good gun with not much recoil. Chews through everything on the first pass. When cleaning on some Generation 4s after the security check, you have to point down, pull the trigger, pull the side tabs, pull the slider. The firing pin is forward and must be to re-slide. Countless Glock owners suffer from the same problem. You must deal with the mechanics of Homeland Security. Just wish it was in the manual or so someone told me. not important. Good gun with accuracy and reliability.
I want to explain what this wonderful weapon is. The sliding unit is a silent point. Some weapons need a key, some have a key, and some have levers. It has a relatively thick slide compared to other models, but it's 0.45. Weight definitely sucks rounds. It feels a bit heavier than the 19. The trigger was typical Glock but smooth with a nice click and reset. It was so much fun taking pictures. Big bullets, big noise but easy to keep aim and get my target back. Again, a great gun. You will not be disappointed.
What Gen Is My Glock
I own and carry a G21 gen 4 daily, never had a problem with mine, and have always been an accurate shooter. If you think about it, buy it, you won't regret it. I love the fact that it is a 13 +1 and I carry an extra magazine just in case, because it is better to have and not need, than to need and not have. He has a respectable position. Glock introduced the G21 SF (Short Frame) in 2007 to compete for the Department of Defense contract. It didn't drop the decade, but the firearm has gained traction among both law enforcement and civilians due to its unique features. Based on the Generation 3 Glock 21, the company has made only a few modifications to this variant. We fired and operated a Glock 21 SF for this Glock 21 review.
Among the modifications to the Glock 21 SF, the most notable (as the name suggests) is the smaller frame circumference. Not to be confused with frame width, the short frame offers less frame depth than the Gen 3 version of the Glock 21. The shorter frame depth allows those with smaller hands to have adequate gripping and reach features. On newer generations (Gen 4), the Glock 21's grip length is nearly identical to that of the G21 SF.
As mentioned earlier, the Glock 21 SF is chambered in one of the “big boy” calibers – .45 ACP. Most shooters know the 45 ACP as a classic caliber, and many self-defense shooters still rely on the cartridge today.

Glock blends tradition and ability in the Glock 21 SF. A capacity of 13 + 1 is offered in the Glock 21 SF — a seemingly reasonable number given the frame size.
Another unique aspect of the Glock 21 SF is the inclusion of an ambidextrous magazine release. While this feature is convenient, I felt like the functionality was missing. I'll go into this in more detail later in the review. Few Glock 21 SFs are designed with a Picatinny rail for mounting accessories—there aren't many left, and holster compatibility isn't an issue.
Many of the Glock 21 SF variants available today are from police departments that have rotated them out of service. These deals can be found for as little as $350-400 in some places - no doubt a great bargain.
